Mets Fire Manager Willie Randolph - NYTimes.com →
Well, shit. I guess someone had to take the fall, I just wish it weren’t Willie. If he weren’t hitting, I’d be upset, but… Oh well. Thus ends the Randolph era for the Mets. Long live Jerry Manuel. … Wait, what?!?

Shatner on 'Trek': 'You know, that's rather good'... →
The Shat rarely watches himself? I find this hard to believe; it feels like everything he does is intentionally wrought with self-deprecating irony. I’m dubious.

This morning was a perfect example; after having my cup of coffee on the front...

Biking
So, we went biking this weekend. It was *fantastic*. There’s a 3.7 mile hiking/trailrunning/biking trail around the WISC, which conveniently runs within a hundred yards of the house, give or take. We went biking there three times this weekend, and I’m sore, but feeling fantastic. My old bike is holding up really well, too. I need to figure out a name for it; I’m thinking...
