Zeldman on Twittering as micro-blogging.
I’m using it now as a part-time psychotherapist and way to share thoughts with my inner-circle of friends and Internets friends. For me, it’s definitely more of the broadcast-SMS tool than the micro-blogging tool.
But, the idea of Twitter as micro-blogging tool is very, very intriguing. If I had more to say, I think I’d use it more...

Do without doing.
It’s all about a sustainable pace, and the process of developing without having to destroy a team, without having to build contentious relationships and an us-versus-them mentality.
There have been so many missteps as we’ve adopted Agile. I’m learning from them, and I hope we *all* are.
Do, Reflect, Adapt.
Do just enough, no more.
Do what is useful, do what is...

I put this quote on the whiteboard yesterday, before our day-long rest-of-the-year planning meeting.
This is hard. This is the hardest part of my job - not just selling the concept and getting buy-in from all the people in the organization who support the team, from the...

Removing the Tweets
So, after some good feedback (“Dammit, I hate looking at your blog, because I’ve already read all your tweets, so how do I know what the hell you’ve posted?!?”) I’m taking the tweets off my site.
If you want to follow me on Twitter, please do so.
11:00 meeting cancelled! I can do works now?
SMBG wants to pull out his Trusty Sidekick and actually get to enjoy working on computer. When MacBook throws rainbow beachball, I know why.
I hate Mondays.

Goin’ to bed.
LET’S GO METS!
Am quickly realizing that, despite its age, MacTheRipper is still one of the best Mac apps out there.
And to top it all off, Jose Reyes just knocked in a three-run homer.
Watching the rain on the ferry back to the ‘burg. Girls are enjoying their party favors, especially the whistles, a little too much.
Of course today, when we’re already late for Brandt’s birthday party, she decides to be literal. And I’m the idiot for being complacent.
On the ferry to the other side of the river. I always enjoy riding on the ferry.
“You’re so vain. You probably think Twitter’s about you.”
Good party. No, *great* party.
Know what I hate about dogs? Poop. Can someone on the Internets get on making the poop-less dogs already?
Cleaning up from a fun party last night, and getting ready for a bigger party this afternoon. Woo-hoo!
Listening to Rage Against the Machine. It’s been a while since I did, and I forgotted how much I like them.
Just realized that a convenient side benefit of deleting my calendar is that I actually don’t feel stressed about too many meetings.
Morning meetings done, so a brief lunch respite. Hope the weather breaks, so I can chop down front yard jungle.
Heading to lunch at California Tortilla. Wish Williamsburg had a Chipolte.
What a dull, dreary day. Go away drizzle, fo shizzle.
Going to have lunch with Emma. Yay Pizza Day!
Don’t feel like Twittering today.
Tired. Want to go home.
CRM meeting is slowly munching on my soul.
Remember, SCRUM doesn’t solve problems. It just makes them painfully difficult to ignore. Like, too many meetings.
One meeting done, minutes until the next. “What if the Product Owner isn’t available? Can the developer just start working?”
Watching Java apps load over someone’s shoulder, and remembering how much I *hate* Java. *HATE* the Java as a desktop app environment.
Seekrit MacBook Guy is awfully tired this morning, listening to poor MacBook in the bag, calling SMBG and wanting to play. Sorry bud …
Finished getting dressed, and waking up Captain Grumpypants wasn’t so bad this morning.
Watching Dawn work on wiring up the new thermostat, and trying *really* hard to keep my man-stincts from wanting to take over Man Job.
Dinner with the girls: singing songs, watching them play, enjoying some semblance of normalcy. In all our lives.
Listening to NPR, waiting to get the girls. Windows down, slight breeze. *Fantastic* day.
